Okay, Okay, I hate to leave bad reviews..and this is NO reflection on our waitress..she was very pleasant and way over worked...She seated us, took our order and brought it out and also checked us out..she did this for about 8 tables and the tables were large parties of 3 or more..not singles.. Not sure where her help was..hope she wasn't doing the cooking too. The food quality was horrible...I ordered the slim slam of egg whites scrambled with spinach and tomatoes and onions (not bad but the spinach was overwhelming) I actually had spinach with a little scrambled egg whites with them and the spinach was not cut up, whole large pieces. I am not much for adding salt and pepper, but the cook USED NO seasoning...so I had to doctor it up some..I ordered a soda to drink..I know that is BAD!!! There was also turkey bacon (slightly burnt) english muffin..toasted but no butter on it so by the time it arrived they were cold...and some shiny fresh fruit..not sure why shiny but I passed on the muffin and fruit.. Noel and Tony both got slams with regular eggs, hot cakes, bacon and sausage...too much food for me..Tony had his coffee and milk and Noel with tea. Everyone ate the food but I will NOT go back to this location. It was $35 with tip and taxes..too much, not great quality of food for the pricing..

Overall terrible experience. Bad food. Rude staff. Stay away. If you want the full story, here it is. I recently drove across country all the way from the west coast to Alabama. Along the way, I stopped at a number of restaurants, and unfortunately this was one of them. Let me start by saying that I know what to expect from a Denny's, I stopped at around 4 of them during this trip and they were all pleasant experiences. But not this one. As we arrive at the restaurant, we see two waitresses smoking directly in front of the door. We have to walk through their cloud of smoke to even enter the establishment. We are quickly seated by a waitress named Jasmine who lets us know she'll also be our server. We notice there are 5 or 6 staff members and very few customers (just one or two tables aside from us). Waitress takes our order. I order a Bourbon Burger with fries and no modifications... straight off the menu. My traveling partner orders an "Avocado Chicken Caesar Salad" .. again straight off the menu with no modifications. Waitress says "OK" and walks away. Over the next 15 minutes, she returns to the table 3 times. The first time, she says, "We don't have any avocado" matter-of-factly, apparently referring to the Avocado Chicken Salad my friend ordered. No apology. Friend says "OK, can I just get some tomato slices with it?" Waitress says "OK" and walks away. Second visit to the table a few minutes later. Waitress looks at me and says "Did you want a Bacon Cheeseburger?" I say no, I wanted a Bourbon Burger. Waitress says "OK" and walks away. Third visit to the table about 5-10 minutes later. Waitress says "You said Bourbon Burger right?" I am surprised at this point because I don't understand why it was difficult and this is my third time telling her my order. Again, I am also one of only 2 or 3 tables in the whole restaurant. I say, "Yes, just the Bourbon Burger and fries, thanks." While this is all going on, we've been watching the waitresses and the cooking staff (we can see inside the kitchen from our table), and notice just how unprofessional the staff seems to be. We hear lots of laughing, swearing, complaining, and we see lots of people standing around doing nothing. It's clear that nobody really wants to be there. Our waitress was also part of this crowd chatting and carrying on while she forgot what burger I ordered two separate times (and it's very unclear to me why it took her 15 minutes to submit my order to the kitchen, anyway). Eventually, food arrives! At this point we've been here around 20-25 minutes, so that's a little slow for Denny's but not too bad. The salad comes out first. Here's what it is supposed to be according to Denny's: "Grilled seasoned chicken breast, fresh avocado, crisp bacon crumbles and shredded Italian cheeses on top of fresh romaine lettuce. Tossed with Caesar dressing and served with dinner bread." The chicken breast is pictured as long strips sliced up and neatly laid on top of the salad. What arrived was an abomination: The chicken breast is *not* neatly sliced up, instead it is tiny little balls of cooked chicken, about the size of little ground beef bits you'd cook for a taco. We've got no idea what part of the chicken this came from but it does not look remotely appetizing. There are no bacon crumbles or shredded cheeses on the entire salad. The "dinner bread" was 100%, completely black and burnt. They did remember the sliced tomato which was requested as a replacement for avocado, so I guess that's something. Friend takes one look at it and complains before the waitress even leaves. He noticed the bread first, because it was incredibly obvious and should never have reached the table. "Excuse me," he says. "Can I get some more bread? This is obviously burnt." The waitress rolls her eyes and takes the bread without saying a word. Waitress returns with more bread which is very *slightly* less burnt, but still not even remotely edible. Friend refuses again. At this point he's noticed all the other issues with his salad and he says as politely as possible, "I'm sorry, but I can't eat this. It's missing the bacon, the cheese, and the little chicken bits are not what is pictured. And how is the kitchen not seeing this bread is still burnt?" She rolls her eyes again and says "You want something else?" No apology. No acknowledgement of what is clearly a bad screw up from the kitchen staff who aren't remotely busy. Nothing. Just rolls her eyes and acted as if we're the ones being rude. Friend says, "actually, no, I don't think I want to eat here, thank you though." My burger (when it arrived) appeared to be fine and I ate it quickly as I felt bad for my friend. The waitress never came back, but we weren't there too long. We got up to pay and Jasmine was at the front register. She did not once issue an apology, tell us to have a good night or thank us for eating there. To her credit, she did remove the salad from the bill without prompting.

Terrible service. Had to ask repeatedly for coffee. Forgot part of the order - twice.

For the second year in a row, we hit a Denny's after a Hobbit movie. Generous portions for the movie tie-in entrees, but it is what it is. Inability to provide hot cocoa on a chilly night is wrong, but the Smaug burger had a nice spicy kick to it. Service wise, our server gave a lengthy roundabout explanation for simple stuff. We might stick to Memphis next time instead of venturing to the truck stop experience.

Slow service...about at 30% capacity and it took 20 minutes to get a sandwich. Food is below average. Had to ask for silverware and napkins.

Don't do it. Seriously. Don't. We're staying in the sketchy hotel next door and arrived late and starving. With thunderstorms, no transportation and little options around, we opted to go here. 1st, we waited over 10 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. 2nd, the place was crawling with servers. They are clearly over staffed, and yet no one can take the time to take an order. (Although we could hear one of the servers complaining about her minimum wage and lack of tips throughout our dinner). 3rd, the silverware was covered in filth. 4th, my order : veggie burger with cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, and a side of mustard on a whole wheat bun. What I got: a veggie burger on a sesame seed bun with pickles. Thats it. I would have asked for what was missed but our server never returned until she dropped off our check. 5th, our server asked how everything was and when my bf said it wasn't good, she rolled her eyes and walked away. Thank goodness we don't live in WM, but travelers beware... Shitty food, shitty service, shitty location.

First waitor stunk of cigarettes. Second waitress rude. Water delivered after 5 mins . No refill till we asked 50 minutes later food delivered one plate at a time . So after i received my omelette then grits then toast all about 4 to 5 mins apart all taking over an hour from ordering i got up and walked out after words with the waitress . Even the manager blew us off . It was pathetic i would put no stars but you are not allowed

The service was slow, the waters don't know how to make the costumer happy. However, the Manager was very good and understandable. I think that's due to lack of experience. The food wise, below average. I ordered a T-bone Steak the head chef should know better that when you finish cooking the Steak to let it rest for a minute then put it in New plate, clean it, then serve it. There was no presentation what so ever. Quality was not there. What a shame. With simple touches, it'd be a lot better.

For the most part, this is just your typical Denny's. Grand Slams, so on so forth. But we received very good service from some congenial and personable waitresses. We had a large party, and they made no fuss about doing separate checks for us. They stopped by frequently and catered to us above my expectations. Furthermore, when asking one of our party if she'd like cream or sugar, and this member of our party responded "I'm black", (she's not, although our waitress was) indicating that she wanted no cream or sugar, no one snapped her neck!
